Description
This alpha amylase preparation excels in the production of maltose, the main fermentable sugar found in wort. Use in situations where starch conversion is either sluggish, or in high-adjunct mashes.
Used in the mash, alpha amylase will provide the enzymatic power to fully convert starches into maltose, with an optimal temperature range of 125 - 144F and will ensure full attenuation of the resulting wort.
Alpha amylase may also be used in the fermentor to prevent starch and dextrin turbidity to increase clarity.
This 5ml container is sufficient for a 5 gallon batch.
