Description
Amyloglucosidase (also known as gluco amylase) will break down starches and other common malt-derived sugars into glucose. Since glucose is 100% fermentable, beers treated with this enzyme will ferment to complete dryness, often with a terminal gravity under 1.000.
Use in the mash, or directly in the fermentation.
-If used during fermentation, be sure to extend fermentation times as enzymatic activity is slowed at fermentation temperatures.
-If used in the mash, the ideal temperature range is 140 - 167F. Perfect for creating low-calorie beers, high alcohol beers and Brut IPA.
This 5ml container is sufficient for a 5 gallon batch.
